  2. Weapons • The weapons they used were the Pugio, a Gladius, a Spatha, a Javelin, a Pilum and a Bow.

  3. Pugio •The Pugio was a weapon used by the Roman Military. •It was a dagger, like a small sword also a side arm. •It was 18 to 28 cm long and 5 cm wide the handle was also made out of meteal. •After time the Pugio has gotten smaller to 10 to 12 cm long and 3.5 cm wide.

  4. Gladius • A Gladius was sword. • This sword was up to 50 to 60 cm long. • The weapon was used for stabbing and slashing but mostly for stabbing because during a war or fight there wasn’t much room for swinging the sword to slash.

  5. Javelin • It would be the Roman main weapon. • They would normally throw it towards the enemy. • It was like a sphere but was heavy but later on after the updated it it became light weight.

  6. A Pilum • It was about 2 meters long. • It was a heavy Javelin. • It gave the Roman a short range artillery ability this is why the Romans had the most dominance in the world. • The Pilum has a thin Iron shank and a heavy shaft on the tip of the Pilum and was made out of iron and would normally be hard to remove from a shield.

  7. The Bow • The bow came with and arrow and the arrow had an iron head. • The romans used the Composite bow. • It was made out of horn, wood and sinew hold it together. • The
