OB-GYN(Obstetrician/Gynecologist) By: Edith Rivera
How is math applied to my chosen profession? • Math applies to my profession because.. Math is used in determining the amount of medication prescribed to a patient, determining how far along the baby is in an ultrasound, and knowing the length and weight of a baby.
How is science applied to my profession? • Science applies to my profession because… Science is very to my profession because certain classes need to be taken, to become an OB-GYN (classes including biology, chemistry, genetics, physics, and organic chemistry)
How is technology apply to my chosen profession? • Technology applies to my profession because.. For example, ultrasounds, and certain tools are needed to help the patient.
New things I learned • I learned many things throughout this process about my chosen profession. I learned that not only does an OB-GYN focus on women’s health but it also ranges to yearly exams. Also, an OB-GYN helps women who are pregnant and women who are trying to get pregnant by suggesting fertility issues and treatment.
Interesting • What interested me in the articles I chose was how descriptive the articles where. They explained the education needed and life situations. • I would like to learn more about the process of their education, and treatment for the situations brought to each doctor everyday.
