  1. Agency or City Logo Local Emergency Management Agency Information for Evacuees What’s going on?! • There has been an emergency that has made it unsafe for you to stay in your home. • We are volunteers with the city’s Evacuee Assistance team, and we are trained by the Province of BC to help people who have been displaced by emergencies. We do not represent law enforcement, and do not charge for services. • We have set up this location as a secure Reception Centre to provide temporary shelter and resources to meet your immediate and short-term needs. What happens next? • We may ask that you register with us so that we know you’re safe, and so that we can provide you with referrals to resources in the community if need be over the next few days. • We ask for your patience as we work to help you and your neighbours. Please feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to make this difficult time easier for you.
