    • Gas shut-downs, static and on the swim.
    • Navigational techniques – including belaying a line.
    • Minimum of two SMB deployments (one mid-water) which must be competently performed.
    • Follow a line without a mask.
    • With original mask removed from the face, retrieve spare mask and re-fit.
    • Correct use of run-time method of dive planning.
    • Out of air drills and swim 20m using buddy’s gas source with no mask.
    • Correct gas switching.
    • Removal of side-mount, exchange with buddy and attach buddy’s side-mount in its place.

  • Differing mixes in stage cylinders
    • Minimum of two SMB deployments (one mid-water) which must be competently performed.
