The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a destructive green beetle poised to wipe out all ash trees in New York. This will result in millions of dead trees throughout our streets, yards, parks, and forests, leading to serious public health, safety, and economic issues. It's crucial for every community to assess how many ash trees exist, how they will be treated or removed, who will replant, and the potential impact on local budgets. Educate yourself and develop a community preparedness plan to face this imminent threat. Visit http://nyis.info for resources.
