  2. What is National Student Volunteering Week? • A week of celebration of the voluntary work accomplished by students. • Encourages and empowers students to get involved in community volunteering. • Recognises the diversity of ways in which students can give their time and skills to help others.

  3. How did Exeter mark the occasion? • VW Campervan • Volunteering ‘Hub’ in the centre of campus • Daily Volunteering Fairs • Volunteering Showcase with eternal charities • Community Action South West Volunteering Project.

Why is National Student Volunteering Week important to celebrate? • A chance to celebrate the volunteering already accomplished by students. • Empower students to get involved. • Supports the values of the Guild; to ensure that every student who wants to volunteer can; to ensure that every student who has never thought about volunteering does!! • Highlights the importance and benefits of volunteering.
