  12. AFRCC-USCG Support • AFRCC is envisioning an exchange program between the USCG Districts and the AFRCC • One USAF Officer or enlisted would work at a USCG District RCC for 1-2 years. That expertise would be brought back to the AFRCC to enhance our capability and understanding of USCG SAR. • USCG would reciprocate with the exchange and that person would take back the experience of working at the AFRCC. • This program would enhance and educate both the USAF and USCG SAR communities.

  13. AFRCC Education • Site Visits: • AFRCC is beginning an increased education process for our controllers with visits to: • ARTCC / FSS • USCG District RCCs • State EOCs / JOCs • Regional Conferences and Exercises • Other agencies AFRCC works with . . .

  14. Communications • AFRCC is receiving two dedicated phone lines into the console for communications. • Current issues are when base loses communications, AFRCC loses communications. • With new lines, AFRCC will not be affected by line loss. • Direct lines from Richmond, VA to AFRCC for web-based SAR program.

  15. ISSUES • IHDB – Activation Reasons • USMCC should provide better guidance on what they are wanting in that block of the IHDB • Appreciate the feedback and support from USMCC on our lack of a program to support the FTP framework
