LBCCG at a glance • Group incorporated in 1992 • Not for profit, independent community organisation • Works to implement the Lake Baroon Catchment Management Strategy • Over 15 years has developed 80 on-ground projects worth in excess of $530,000 • With the support of AquaGen and BMRG employs a full time Project Officer

Funding the implementation Actions • In 2006 AquaGen introduced a catchment management charge • The charge varies annually depending on estimated water consumption and estimated costs of implementing the catchment management strategy • AquaGen currently charges 1.16 c/Kl for catchment management • LBCCG entered into a funding agreement with AquaGen for $1.8 million over 10 years
