1. Fig. S1 The G box and duplicated TA box generally enhance Amy8 SRC/GARC activity in germinated transgenic rice seeds. T1 seeds from 5 to 9 independent transgenic rice lines carrying indicated constructs were germinated and grown in a buffer supplemented with 25 mg/L hygromycin for 6 days in the dark. Leaves and roots were removed and endosperms and embryos were collected from 10 seedlings of each transgenic line for assay of luciferase activity.
