  2. Different names and Land • Dust Devils are sometimes called the “The dancing devil” and in Death Valley, California it is called “sand auger”. • Most often they form on dry, hot, flat ground. • They occur in Arizona Tanzania and Texas is where they form.

  4. How tall are they? • There height is more than 10 meters wide and more than 1000 meters tall. • Dust Devils last for 1 to 2 hrs. • It can lift 17 short tons of dust in the air in 30 minutes. And most dust devils are up to 330 feet (100) Meters.
