  2. Zonas árticas Frío intenso todo el año. Suelo congelado. Osos, focas, nutrias. Sólo hay vida en las costas. Zonas heladas

  3. Veranos breves e inviernos largos y muy fríos. Musgos, líquenes, sauces enanos, renos, lemmings, zorros, distintas aves. - Tundra

  4. Temperaturas bajas en invierno y deshielo en verano. Bosques de coníferas, linces, lobos, ardillas, osos Taiga

  5. Gran humedad. Temperaturas moderadas. Árboles de hoja caduca: hayas, robles, castaños. Fauna muy variada. Bosque caducifolio

  6. Diferencias muy acusadas de temperatura. Pocas precipitaciones. Vegetación herbacea. Grandes herbívoros, roedores, aves. - Pradera

  7. Inviernos suaves y veranos muy calurosos. Precipitaciones bajas, sobre todo en verano. Árboles de hoja perenne: encinas, alcornoques. Fauna muy variada. - Bosque mediterráneo

  8. Precipitaciones muy escasas y fuertes oscilaciones de temperatura. Escasos vegetales. Termitas, reptiles, camélidos. Desierto

  9. Una estación seca y otra de lluvias. Predominio de herbáceas con árboles dispersos. Gacelas, leones, cebras, ñus. sabana

  10. Temperaturas elevadas y constantes. Abundantes lluvias. Exuberante vegetación. Monos, aves, reptiles, anfibio, insectos. Selva ecuatorial
