  4. ADAPTATIONS 1. Goliath Bird-Eating Spiders have poison glands at the end of there fangs. This venom is mostly harmless to humans but kills and paralyzing smaller victims by attacking and shutting down their central nervous system.

  5. 2. Goliath bird eating spiders have tiny sensory hairs on their legs. These hairs help detect movement and can feel the smallest vibrations in the air or on the ground. 3. Bird-Eating spiders can produce a hissing noise by rubbing a different set of hairs together. This can help scare predators away. 4. These spiders can emit tiny toxic hairs that can be extremely harmful to lungs and skin. 5. When threatened goliath spiders know how to stand on hind legs ready to pounce in an attack position.
