  3. Irregular Plurals Irregular plurals are words which do NOT follow the rule for adding –s or –es to show more than one. (Regular Example: journey…..journeys) Singular (1) Plural (2+) elk elk moose moose buffalo buffalo

  4. Latin Root: Duct duct = lead Key Words: conductor, abduct

  5. Latin Root: Aqua aqua = water Key Word: aquarium
