  1. This tutorial will show you how to: • Register to the forum • Manage Username and Password • Receive acceptance of the registration • Post a new topic • Reply to a previous topic

  2. Registration 1 The Registration process start by clicking here • The first step is to Register to the Forum

  3. The following screen will appear Accept the terms by clicking here

  4. The following screen will then appear Fill in the form selecting your username email password and correctly type the confirmation code retyping the above fonts (in this case CLLSQE, but it changes with any new registration) CLLSQE

  5. You will then receive an e-mail to the account previously indicated, that activates you and provides the permission to entry into the forum To entry into the Forum, return to the main page and click on login

  6. In the following page, type the username and password that were also previously communicated by e-mail. Username Password

  7. The following page, is the ICAR Forum. It’s topics are grouped by SCs, WGs and TF To enter into a topic, click on the one you wish (i.e. Milk Analysis)

  8. In order to avoid submission of unsolicited material, ALL the Forums are protected by the same password; it is: ICAR (all in capital) So, type ICAR in the box to enter into the Milk Analysis Forum (or for any other forum) ICAR

  9. How to read previous Topics or post a new one You are now in the Milk Analysis SC Forum To read one of the previous topic, click on its header To post a new Topic, click on “New topic”

  10. If you click on the header, the topic and the discussions will now be visible and you are allow to add your new comment or new topic You are now in the Milk Analysis SC Forum – Topic: Milk lactose content expression To return to the “Board Index” click here To return to the Milk Analysis Sub-Committee Forum click here To browse the entire topic, use the side arrow To add a reply, click on “PostREPLY You may quote a single message by clicking on “QUOTE”

  11. NEW TOPIC - If you click on “New Topic” you may start a new discussion, in this case within the Milk Analysis Sub-Committee Forum, but the procedure is the same in the various Forums You are now in the Milk Analysis SC Forum To add a new topic, click on “New Topic”

  12. How to submit a NEW TOPIC Specify the subject of the new Topic here Add your text in this box Use the commands on the this line to format the text When finalised, click on “Submit” You may “Preview” the text before submitting Your new Topic will be added to the Forum
