Planning & Budget Council (PBC) • http://www.fgcu.edu/Provost/PBC.html • Six committees associated with the PBC: • Budget • Safety & Facilities • Enrollment & Retention Management • Strategic Planning & Inst. Effectiveness • Information Resources • Environmental Sustainability • We need to determine how Senate committees relate to this structure

Other Things in the Pipeline • Faculty handbook update • SAI Task Force • Faculty evaluation of administrators • Analysis of HERI and NSSE results • General Education diversity requirement proposal • Student Learning Outcomes and Goals (SLOG) Task Force follow-up • Sabbatical guidelines revision

  5. Upcoming Things • Campus Master Plan update • NCAA Division I Certification self-study • Board of Trustees meeting Sept 15 (Tues) • Advisory Council of Faculty Senates meeting Sept 24 (Thurs) • Textbook bill implementation • Civic Engagement conference, Oct 30-31 (Fri-Sat)
