  5. Content Objectives Examples • [Grade 1]Students will deepen their knowledge of the concept of addition through oral storytelling with the use of manipulatives. They will connect addition stories to math equations, and write the equations.

Content Objectives Examples • [Grades 7-8]Students will explore three decisions about the atomic bomb faced by the U.S. during WWII, take a position on each, and defend their position orally: • Decision A: Should the U.S. government build an atomic bomb? • Decision B: Should the U.S. government drop the bomb on Japan to end the war? • Decision C: In hindsight, did President Truman make the right decision?

Content Objectives Examples • [Grades 9-12]Students will be able to: • Differentiate the characteristics of animal and plant cells • Identify and name at least six organelles in the cell • Match effectively the function to the organelle on a cell model • Build a three-dimensional model of a plant or animal cell
