Exercise Relieves Stress • Deal with life’s frustrations by exercising • Muay Thai, Cardio Kickboxing, Weight Training, Running, yoga • A means to release negative emotions • Makes one more capable to cope with current stress and life’s future stress • Less stress – happier person • Release stress hormones • Use exercise as therapy • Exercise in different types of places • Does not have to be in just a gym • Let stress be your motivation!

  14. Endorphins Affect Your Mood • Not only do you relieve stress but your mood improves too! • Exercise decreases stress hormones, releases endorphins • Also released are adrenaline, serotonin, and dopamine • Combination of “feel good chemicals” • “Runner’s High” Endorphins Cortisol
