  6. NSES STANDARD Bugscope technology allows children contact to see bugs in great detail while getting answers directly from the scientists Many classrooms do not have this technology of microscopes to use first hand that’s why the bugscopewebsite is so information and gives students the chance to explore

  7. Bug scope truly gives you a different perspective to bugs. My first drawing was of a cockroach which was I drew strictly from memory after seeing one during project wild, therefore there was not much detail and lack some vital characteristics that cockroaches exhibitAfter looking as a beetle under the scope I was able to see much more detail which I incorporated in my drawing. When viewing the bugscope picture of the cockroach it is completely different not only because it is viewing the underside of the body, but the detail that is visible would not be recognized with the naked eye.

  8. The bugscope website was an amazing experience. I never get that close to bugs unless I am killing them. Although they looked really cool, I still will continue to kill insects. It was cool seeing all the hairs, and lines on the insects . It was totally different opposed to looking at with a naked eye. With the naked eye you just the outside basically just the color of it. It is even different when looking at it under a microscope. With a microscope you can see a little bit more detail, but not as much as when looking on bugscope.

  9. Activity Student will on a bug hunt, and find a bug of their choice. They will need to make a list of characteristics about the bug before any further investigation. The students will then review the bugs and others on Bugscope. After Bugscope students will need to do research on their bug and present the information to the class.
