Article iv: Membership • (As amended on November 21, 2007) • 2.3 In municipalities and cities where there are no organized LCWs, a women NGO recognized by the local government unit concerned may be accepted by PFLCW as a temporary member pending the formal organization and accreditation of the LCW which shall not be later than 2010.

(As amended on November 21, 2007) • 3.2 The Provincial Council of Women (PCW) that have been existing prior to the organization of the Local Councils of Women pursuant to the PFLCW guidelines and/or applicable DILG circulars may retain their existing structure if duly recognized by their respective local government units (LGUs) and accredited by the PFLCW, Inc. until such time that the PFLCW shall have been organized following the guidelines set by the Philippine Federation of Local Councils of Women (PFLCW), Inc. but must not be later than year 2010.

  4. ARTICLE VII: THE PFLCW BOARD OF TRUSTEES • Section 2. Ex-officio members – A representative each of the Department of Interior and Local Governments (DILG) and the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW) shall serve as ex-officio members of the board. Terms of Officers and Members of the Board 5.1 The term of the founding Chairperson shall be permanent. 5.2 The officers and members of the Board including the eight elected LCWs/NGO representatives shall serve for a period of 3 years and shall assume office on January 1 of the following year. The fiscal year shall be from January 1 to December 31. • 5.1 The Chairperson, who shall be elected from among the Board of Trustees shall have a term of three years. • 5.2 The designated representatives of the institutional members shall serve for three years. • 5.3 The appointed sectoral representatives shall serve a term for three years. • 5.4 The elective LCW/NGO representatives shall also serve a term of three years.

  7. Section 7: Meetings and Quorums • 7.3 The presence of eleven (11) members of the Board of Trustees shall constitute a quorum to do business in regular and/or special meetings. nine (9)
