  3. ANTIPATHY (ann-tip-ah-thee)(an-tip-a-thy), noun Definition: a hatred or dislike Forms: antipathetic, adj. antipathetical, adj. antipathetically, adv “Many students have a strong antipathy towards homework.”

APATHY (aa-pa-thee) (ap-a-thy), noun Definition: 1. lack of feeling/ energy/ interest 2. indifference (truly doesn’t care) Form: apathetic, adjective “Her apathy or lack of energy in gym class made running even worse.” “The lady’s apathy about cake choices was a sign of her indifference towards turning 40.”
