  1. Comunicación y Gerencia The Real Heaven It’s Not What You Think

  2. Some Contemporary Views of Heaven Ghostly and spiritualized Loss of personal identities, memories and thoughts. Too much for us to imagine. A never-ending worship service

  3. The Journey of Desire, John Eldridge “Nearly every Christian I have spoken with has some idea that eternity is an unending church service….

  4. We have settled on an image of the never-ending sing-along in the sky, one great hymn after another, forever and ever, amen. And our heart sinks.

  5. Forever and ever? That’s it? That’s the good news? And then we sigh and feel guilty that we are not more ‘spiritual.’ We lose heart, and we turn once more to the present to find what life we can.”

  6. “We may not know much about Heaven, but at least we know it’s better than Hell.”

  7. For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)

  8. We are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth. (2 Peter 3:13)

  9. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions (Hebrews 10:34)

  10. There will be a NEW heaven and a NEW earth. What does that mean?

  11. “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” says the Lord… (Isaiah 66:22)

  12. He [Jesus] must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. (Acts 3:21)

  13. God said His creation was, “good.” The earth did not have death or disease. God walked and talked with Adam and Eve. Then came the fall…

  14. The earth was cursed Death began Humans aged and became susceptible to disease, disability, animal attacks, and starvation. But…

  15. “…God was pleased to have all the fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in Heaven,

  16. by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross” (Colossians 1:19-20)

  17. “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away…

  18. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

  19. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them and be their God…

  20. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away’” (Revelation 21)

  21. God will “restore all things” (Acts 3:21). In the beginning, the earth did not have death or disease. Revelation 21 says that God will remove them in Heaven.

  22. Revelation 21 says God will make his “dwelling” with man, just like in the beginning when God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in Eden.

  23. This is a return to the earth as God originally intended. A bodiless, otherworldly state would not qualify as a restoration at all.

  24. “For the creation was subjected to frustration, not of its own choice, but because of him who subjected it,

  25. in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

  26. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

  27. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies” (Romans 8:20-23)

  28. The concept that many Christians have of Heaven is vague, uninspiring and unbiblical.

  29. The Bible tells us that God will create a New Earth for us like the pre-cursed one on which Adam and Eve lived.

  30. The Bible tells us that the afterlife for God’s children is a restoration, not an annihilation.

  31. The Bible tells us that creation also waits for this restoration.

  32. What is the resurrection? Will we actually have human bodies? Will we recognize friends and family? Will animals be on the New Earth?
