  4. You Made The Right Choice • Lets get started and lets build a barrier…. Click the Carp to continue……..

  5. What is wrong? • Are you mad? • Are you sad? • Bad day? • Do you not like fish? Click the Carp to continue……

  6. First… • With the mock canal pathway/waterway that you have in front of you…… • Place the signal generator on the side of the canal bank. Click the carp to continue…. ……..

  7. Next….. • Installing the plume • Take one end of the rubber pipe and hook it into the signal generator. • With the other end rubber pipe, hook it up to into the bubbleplume. Click the carp to continue…..

  8. Testing… • Place the bubble plume in the water. • Turn on the generator to activate the bubble plume. • Place coy fish in the water system. • Share your findings with your teacher on how the fish reacted towards the bubbles. Click on the carp to continue…..

  10. Next… • Next we are going to add the FGS Linear Low-Voltage Strobe light… • Use the twisty ties to attach the Light (FGS Linear Low Voltage Strobe) onto the bubble plume. Click on the carp to continue…..

  11. Now…… • Plug the light into the Generator. • Test the light to see if they work. Click the carp to continue….

  12. Testing… • Place the light barrier into the water way. • Turn on the low liner voltage strobe light • Add Coy Fish into the water system. • Write down as a group what you observed based on the fish behavior? Click the carp to continue….

  13. Next…. • We are going to add sound to the plume device. • Place the signal generator on the side of the mock canal bank. • Twisty tie the sound projector(underwater speaker) onto the barrier system Click the carp to continue….

  14. Now…. • Link and connect the sound projector into the signal generator. • Lets get ready to test the sound barrier Click the carp to continue….

  15. Testing…. • Place the barrier system in the mock canal waterway. • Turn on the sound projector frequency to 500 Hz. • Add coy fish in the waterway • Write down what you observed based on the fish behavior? Click the carp to continue….

  16. Final Test • Keep the barrier system in the water • Now you will activate the bubble, light and sound barriers. • Add the coy fish • Using the Tri-combo barrier, what were your observations based on the fish behavior? Click the carp to continue….
