KILDARE ROUTE PROJECT 2 SCOPE: • 4 Tracking from Cherry Orchard & Park West to Inchicore; 4.4 kms of DoubleTrack and 4.4 kms of 4 Aspect Signalling • Grade separated Junction to tie in to DART Underground Tracks at Inchicore • Electrification of line from Hazelhatch to Inchicore; 27.3 kms STATUS: • Design and Railway Order Preparation Underway • Anticipate Submission to An Bord Pleanála Q4 2011

MAYNOOTH LINE SCOPE: • Resignalling the Maynooth Line • Electrification of Line from Maynooth to Connolly • Closure of the Level Crossings on the Route STATUS: • Design and Railway Order Preparation Under Way • Anticipate Submission to An Bord Pleanála Q2 2012 • Planning Application to Close Reilly’s Crossing to be Submitted by the End of 2010

  7. NAVAN LINE • M3 Parkway – City Centre Opened September 2010 • Design and Railway Order Preparation to be Submitted March 2011

  8. NORTHERN LINE SCOPE: • Resignal Line • Electrification of Line from Malahide to Balbriggan (next phase to Drogheda) STATUS: • Application For Funding for Railway Order Process to be Submitted in 2011

  9. CITY CENTRE RESIGNALLING SCOPE & STATUS: Project in 3 Phases
