Comparison of SNA Reactivity in FCS, Apoptotic U937 Cells, and Fetuin

This study examines the SNA reactivity of fetal calf serum (FCS), apoptotic U937 cells, and fetuin through supplementary figure analysis. Notably, the band from apoptotic U937 cells demonstrated an apparent molecular weight consistent with both fetuin and the major band observed in FCS. The FCS was diluted 20-fold for clarity, resulting in the visualization of only the major bands. This comparison highlights the similarities in molecular weight among these samples, offering insights into their potential interactions and implications in apoptosis research.

  1. Apoptotic U937 Fetuin FCS 67 kDa Supplementary Figure 1. Comparison of SNA reactivity of FCS, apoptotic U937 and fetuin. The band from apoptotic U937 cells showed the same apparent molecular weight of fetuin and of the major band of FCS. FCS has been diluted 20 fold. With this dilution, only major bands were observed.
