3.ReflectJesus Ifyou’repronetogossipping,complaining,beinglazy,tarty,or evenjust constantlyhavingabadattitude,thenyouaregoingtoholdyour team back from flourishing. In DTS, you’re bound to have spiritual growth, so bring that to the table. Be intentional in growing and becoming a better person, and a perfect place to practicethatisaroundyourteam!
4.AcceptCriticism Going off of Reflecting Jesus, we also need to be willing to accept criticism from our teammates. If they notice areas of growththatneedtotakeplace,listen.Stepoutinhumilityand allowthoseyouworkwithandtrusttopointoutwhatneedsto bechanged,gettingyouastepclosertoJesuseachtime.
5.Don’tCompareYourself Everyoneisdifferent,butallareneeded.Somepeopleare introverts, some are extroverts. Some work best outside and someworkbestonacomputer.Someprefertheslowand steady life and some thrive off adrenaline. However it is that youworkbest,useit.Eachpersonplaysadifferentpartinthe team and brings different ways of thinking, and they’re all beautifulandhandcraftedbyGod!
6.TakeInitiative Don’twaitaroundforsomeoneelsetodoit.Getridofthe‘it’s not my job’, ‘I’m not good enough’ mindset and take initiative. AsktheLordforboldnessandcourage.Ifwearenotwillingto do the small jobs, God won’t call us to do the big things we dreamof.IfyouhaveJesusyouarequalifiedtodoanythingHe putsinfrontofyou.Beobedient.
7.BreatheandRemember Humble yourself enough to admit when things get to be too muchtohandleandletyourteammateswalkalongsideyou.Be a good team member by allowing others to be good team members. Also, don’t be scared to admit you need a break. It’s somuchmorebeneficialtoyourteammatesforyoutobefully alive and present than for you to be overworking yourself and eventuallyleadingtoburnout.Payattentiontohowyou’re feeling!
