  1. Computer Aided Drafting 120 Teacher: Mr. Daigle Semester 1 Year: 2011/2012

  2. Materials Needed: • 1. Binder • 2. Pen, Pencil, Eraser, and Calculator • 3. Geometry Set

  3. Homework: • Classwork and homework are an essential part of this course. Only by completing and keeping up in assignments can you expect to success in this course

  4. Test: • You are allowed to miss two test without penalty. All missed tests are to be made up within two days of your return to class. A mark of zero will be assigned to all tests which have not been completed. A third missed test receives a mark of zero.

  5. Attendance: • Be on time and have all materials for class ( including textbook, calculator, pens, and pencils). Your attendance is essential to pass this course. You are expected to pick up any homework missed due to absence.

  6. Extra help: • Should you have difficulty with Drafting, extra help is available upon request. You are responsible to come for extra help if you need it. If you choose not to come, you should be prepared to pay the consequences.

  7. Evaluation: • Term 1 ____________________ Value 50% • Term 2 ____________________ Value 50%

  8. Classroom Procedures and Marking Scheme: • 1. Lecture, Note taking, Exercises, Worksheets and Homework. • 2. Marks • a) Tests 20% each term • b) Assignments 20% each term • c) Class Marks 10% each term • d) Drawings 50% each term

  9. Marking Scheme Continue: • a) Test 20% - Written tests or drawings to be completed in one hour during class. Approximately 2 to 3 per term. • b) Assignments 20% - Written assignments assigned to be completed at home or in class. Approximately 3 per term. • c) Drawings 50% - Approximately 10 to 12 per term
