Why do humans wish to humanize animals, or do we aspire to attain their qualities? Why is there a universal need for humans to use animals as metaphors for themselves?

Unit ObjectivesTLW: • Draw parallels between humans and animals by writing in first-person narrative • Become familiar with animal anatomy physical presence through observational and written documentation • Create a scratch art product with correct technique • Create of maquette of an animal using correct technique • Demonstrate understanding of how and whay humans use constructivist animal sculpture
