Benton: Both of these figures were involved in gov’t. Benton was a Senator, Jackson was the pres. David Crockett: Both the men had a common interest. Crockett served under Jackson in his campaign PROFILE I currently reside in the White House in Washington, DC. I was born on March 15, 1767 near Waxhaws, North Carolina/ South Carolina area. My father died before my birth, so my mother, brother, and I moved in with relatives. In my early years, I was educated by private tutor, then, when I was 15, I decided to go back to school myself. I went far enough in my education that I became a lawyer. I am the president of the States of America. Philosophies: I am Presbyterian democrat, and my motto is “the victory belong the spoils” Arts & Entertainment: Music; Beethoven Activities & Interests: Horseback riding and reading. I also enjoy drinking alcohol STATUS Today, I was almost assassinated. The man who tried to assassinate me was Richard Lawrence. Lucky for me, when he pulled out his first gun, it misfired, and then, when he pulled out his second gun, it too misfired. My team then restrained and disarmed him. 197338 people like this Comment Like This

  2. WALL John C. Calhoun: Are you okay? Do you need me to fill in for you so you can take a break? If you do, I’ll be there tomorrow to help out with some stuff that needs to be handled, and you can notify me then. Thomas H. Benton:Andrew, are you okay? How did this happen? Do you know what his motive was? Also, I need to speak with you about a law we are trying to decide about. David Crockett: He is fine. I, along with others, successfully disarmed and restrained the man after both of his guns misfired, and before he could do anymore damage. We made sure that he could do no serious damage after we took him down. 1996 people like this Comment Like This Andrew Jackson: Yes, and I thank each and every person who was a part of keeping me safe and protected. If it wasn’t for you guys, I might not still be here, or I could have been seriously injured. 1072 people like this Comment Like This Andrew Jackson: Yes, I am okay. I was leaving Representative Davis’ funeral when a man aimed a gun at me. I’m extremely lucky that both guns he tried to shoot me with misfired. No one is sure what his motive was yet, but police are working on it. I have an appointment open on Thursday so you can come talk to me about it then. 127 people like this Comment Like This Thomas H. Benton: Okay, I will be there Thursday at 9:30 AM. I am extremely glad that his attempt was a fail. Keep me posted on your findings about motive and let me know what is going on and how you are doing. See you Thursday! 28 people like this Comment Like This
