  1. Ka’aba By Suleman Imdad

  2. Ka’aba

  3. Introduction - Ka’aba • God has decreed for each one of us , men and women, to observe the • Hajj to the Sacred Masjid. In the Quran, God instructs Abraham to build a shrine known as the Ka’aba to serve as a focal point and safe sanctuary for the people (Verse 2:125). • [2:125] We have rendered the shrine (the Ka`aba) a focal point for the people, and a safe sanctuary. You may use Abraham's shrine as a prayer house. We commissioned Abraham and Ismail: "You shall purify My house for those who visit, those who live there, and those who bow and prostrate.“

  4. Introduction – Ka’aba • This cube-like structure, located within the city of Mecca, was intended as a symbolic center for people of all cultures to convene and share in a common bond of worship. The diverse flow of worshipers arriving from different parts of the world to one location would allow people to witness and confirm the rituals preserved from the time of Abraham and return to their communities as witnesses among their own people (22:78).

  5. Introduction – Ka’aba • The interaction of worshipers would allow people to share their experiences, learn from each other, assess their own level of faith, and keep informed about the needs or events facing the world. • Physical differences and prejudices could be set aside as people would feel the unity of being one under the same Creator while reflecting on their role in serving God and those around them. • People returning with this rejuvenated feeling would be an example for others and could help strengthen the bond between neighbors, friends and loved ones. • This harmony would promote what God views as the best community; one that advocates righteousness, invites to what is good and forbids evil (3:110). • The pilgrimage to Ka’aba was continued after Abraham by Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and their followers who journeyed to this focal point to worship the same God and preach a common message.

  6. God’s promise • A Great Prophecy* • [41:53] We will show them our proofs in the horizons, and within themselves, until they realize that this is the truth.* Is your Lord not sufficient as a witness of all things? • *41:53 The words that compose this verse are 19, and their gematrical values add up to 1387, 19x73. This great prophecy, together with 9:33, 48:28, 61:9 & 110:2 inform us that the whole world is destined to accept the Quran as God's unaltered message (See Appendix 38).

  7. KA’ABA – THE “SACRED MASJID”Verses in the Quran • 1. [2:144] • 2. [2:149] • 3. [2:150] • 4. [2:191] • 5. [2:196] • 6. [2:217] • 7. [5:2] • 8. [5:97] • 9. [8:34] • 10. [9:7] • 11. [9:19] • 12. [9:28] • 13. [17:1] • 14. [22:25] • 15. [48:25] • 16. [48:27] If we add the sum of sura and the verse numbers where the word “Sacred Masjid” has been mentioned in the Quran 1504 to the number of times it is mentioned in the Quran which is 16 we get 1504+16 = 19x 80

  8. MECCA & BECCA • God swears in the Quran by Mecca in (95:3) but does not mention it by name. • [95:3] And this honored town (MECCA).* *95:1-3 The fig, olive, Sinai and Mecca possibly symbolize Adam, Jesus, Moses, Abraham and Muhammad, respectively. Thus, all major religions are represented.

  9. MECCA • The word “Mecca “ is mentioned only once in the Quran in 48:24 as follows: • [48:24] He is the One who withheld their hands of aggression against you, and withheld your hands of aggression against them in the valley of MECCA, after He had granted you victory over them. GOD is Seer of everything you do. • If we add the digits of the sura and the verse numbers where the word “Mecca” has been mentioned in the Quran to the number of times it is mentioned in the Quran which is 1 we get: • 4+8+2+4+1=19

  10. BECCA • [3:96] The most important shrine established for the people is the one in BECCA;* a blessed beacon for all the people. *3:96 This is an M-initialed sura, and this peculiar spelling of "Mecca“ as "Becca" causes the occurence of "M" to conform to the Quran's mathematical code. The normal spelling "Mecca" would have increased the frequency of occurence of "M" (Appendix 1). The word “Becca “ is mentioned only once in the Quran in 3:96 , if we add the digits of the sura and the verse numbers where the word “Mecca” has been mentioned in the Quran to the number of times it is mentioned in the Quran which is 1 we get 3+9+6+1=19 • Subhan Allah!!

  11. In the next verse, God says.. [3:97] In it are clear signs: the station of Abraham. Anyone who enters it shall be granted safe passage. The people owe it to GOD that they shall observe Hajj to this shrine, when they can afford it. As for those who disbelieve, GOD does not need anyone. • The sign is 3+9+7 = 19!! ALLAH U AKBAR!

  12. KA’ABA • The Geographic co-ordinates of Ka'aba in decimal degrees are 21.42° , 39.82° • and 21423982 = 1127578 x19

  13. Ka'aba is located at 19 ° from the North pole

  14. The area of the Ka’bah is 627 square feet (19 x 33)

  15. The height of the Kaaba is 39 feet, 6 inches • [3:96] The most important shrine established for the people is the one in Becca;* a blessed beacon for all the people. • *3:96 This is an M-initialed sura, and this peculiar spelling of "Mecca" as "Becca" causes the occurence of "M" to conform to the Quran's mathematical code. The normal spelling "Mecca" would have increased the frequency of occurence of "M" (Appendix 1).

  16. As can be understood from the calculations on the latitudes and longitudes the earth’s golden ratio point is at Mecca. The coordinateseast longitude +39,82 and the north latitude +21,42 (Google Earth) shows that Kaaba and the holy area is at the earth’s golden ratiopoint.(90 + 21.42 = 111.42 and 111.42 / 180 = 0.61... ), ( 180 +39.82 = 219.82 and 219.82/360= 0.61... The formula shows the method of calculating ofthe distance of the city Mecca to the poles and to the equinox line in both ways.) • The Golden Ratio (number of the creation of design and esthetic) = Phi constant = 0.61... • Mecca’s distance to the poles / The distance between North and South poles = 0.61... • Mecca’s distance to the North Pole / Mecca’s distance to the South Pole = 0.61... • Mecca’s distance (west) to the equinox line / The Earth’s perimeter = 0.61... • Mecca’s distance (west) to the equinox line / Mecca’s distance (east) to the equinox line = 0.61... • The inner ratios of the lines that passes through Mecca and combining the poles and the equinoxes = 0.61... • In the verse that tells about Mecca and Kaaba (3:96) the number of the letters until the word Mecca (29) / The number of the verse’s total letters (47) = 0.61...
