  4. The results … • ~ 150 XML standards checked • 43 standards having a relation with statistical themes • Only 3 with a successful mapping to some statistical requirements: • HL7 (Health) • OTA (Tourism) • hr-XML (Human Resources) CoRD Task Force – 16 June 2008

  5. And even worse … • HL7 (Health): process to take on board statistical requirements too slow • OTA (Tourism) ): low market penetration • hr-XML (Human Resources): not ripe enough • As a plan B, we checked for national XML standards in use CoRD Task Force – 16 June 2008
