    2. They have cooler summers than we do. It doesn't have a lot of precipitation. The arctic is bitterly cold. They have two seasons. They have dark days and nights.

    3. It is very cold there there is 2% barrack rock higher altered blizzards go on the plateau there is 98% of snow

    4. The Arctic has a river that is called the Red River. The Arctic is surrounded by land. The Arctic is a frozen ocean.

    5. Very large waves . Less than 5% is free of ice. Antarctica was a desert but snow built up for years and became a snow land.

    6. Explorers were looking for a shortcut between continents. Inuit people live in the Arctic. Eskimos are found in Greenland,Canada, Alaska and North America. Eskimos are people who wear giant coats and they ride on sleds in big races.

    7. Antarctic people Captain James cook sailed around Antarctica. Admiral Fabian discovered Antarctica Robert F. Scott reached the South Pole.

    8. Polar bears have water resistant fur. Some animals go to the ocean to get warm Arctic tern is the only bird that visits both the Arctic and Antarctica.

    9. Animals such as seal leopards eat penguins but but penguins eat krill and other small animals on the ocean floor. Many animals have white underreports Many animals hibernate in the winter.

    10. ARCTIC PLANTS A lichen plant look like one plant but it actually made up with two kinds of plant. Some of the Arctic plants are dwarf willow, lichen, moss, arctic willow, and orange lichen.

    11. The sun shines only March through September. Buttercups can mess up your digestive system in one bite. This region has a very short growing season.

    12. Some plants are also made up of some stuff like mosses and fungi. In Antarctica there is not enough rain for plants. Some people eat tussock grass as tall as (2 m).
