Nurse Educator • Prepares the graduate to accept a faculty position within a program of nursing • Prepares a nursing educator position in a clinical setting
The Roles of the Nurse Educator • Employ a variety of educational philosophies and technologies. • Develop and implement teaching-learning plans and nursing curriculum. • Integrate scholarly process in nursing education practice. • Supervise basic nursing students in clinical practice areas.

Nurse Practitioner • A registered nurse • Has advanced academic and clinical experience • Can diagnosis and manage common chronic illness Offered through accredited universities
Admission Criteria for M.S.N. School • BSN degree with an upper division GPA of 3.0 or higher from accredited university. • Eligible for licensure to practice as a RN in your state. • Complete Graduate Record Examination (GRE) with a minimum score of 500 or above on verbal and quantitative sections. • Recommend completing extensive clinical experience before applying.
