  2. Task 1: Definitions Write a definition for each of these terms: Hacker A person who uses computers to gain unauthorized access to data. Virus virus: a software program capable of reproducing itself and usually capable of causing great harm to files or other programs on the same computer;

Task 2: Computer Misuse • In what year was the Computer Misuse Act passed? • Why was the computer misuse act introduced? • What are the three principles? 1990 Cope with problems of computer hackers and viruses • It is illegal to access unauthorised data • It is illegal to access unauthorised data with the intent to commit a crime • It is illegal to access unauthorised data and change it e.g. planting viruses or deleting files

State two pieces of advice you would give to prevent the secretary having medical problems due to regular use of the computer. Give a reason for each piece of advice.
