In the February 2010 meeting, the UBL Transportation Subcommittee aims to develop and implement UBL Transportation documents, liaising with stakeholders, and fostering real-world implementations. The committee seeks to enhance human interface presentations for the Transportation context and collaborate with other UBL subcommittees. The introduction of UBL 2.0 Transport standards in 2006 paved the way for including essential transport documents like Certificate of Origin and Bill of Lading. Recent activities involve extending the transport library based on user requirements and projects like EC Freightwise. The upcoming UBL 2.1 will introduce three new documents to further enrich the transport data model.
