Denton & Lewisville Connect Service • Connect • Local fixed route services operating in the cities of Lewisville and Denton. • Routes were configured to provide easy access to many important destinations within these cities. • Operates Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays. • TWU students ride for free with valid TWU ID

Where does Connect take passengers? • DCTA Commuter Express Park and Ride • City Hall • County Courthouse • Library • Municipal Court • Denton Regional Medical Center • Presbyterian Hospital • Senior Center • Social Security Administration • Texas Workforce Commission • Golden Triangle Mall • Downtown Square • Target • Wal-Mart • RayzorRanch • In Denton, Connect makes 186 stops throughout the city. Some points of interest on the Connect routes are:

Commuter Express • Commuter Express is an express coach service from Denton and Lewisville to the Trinity Mills DART Station and 3 Downtown Dallas DART stations. • Commuter Express stops by city: • Denton = TWU, UNT, & DCTA Central in downtown Denton • Highland Village = FM 407 Park & Ride • Lewisville = Hebron Station • Carrollton = Trinity Mills Station • Dallas = DART West, Commerce @ Field, & DART East • At the Trinity Mills Station, riders can connect to DART’s Green Line, which provides access to Downtown Dallas, Pleasant Grove, and DART’s Red and Blue Lines. • Visit DART.org for DART service and schedule information.

Commuter Express • Reverse trips from downtown Dallas stop at Lewisville Park and Ride locations, the University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University and the DCTA Central transit center. • Commuter Express operates Monday through Friday, excluding New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. • Service may be limited or modified on days surrounding these holidays. • Sign up for DCTA e-mail Rider Alerts to receive schedule modification notices.

Commuter Express Pass Purchase Locations DCTA's Online Store - https://www.dcta.net/dctaticket/TicketPurchase/TicketStore.aspx *** Passes may also be purchased (using cash, check or money order) from DCTA bus operators the first and last three days of the month. Commuter Express Cash Fare Passengers • Commuter Express passengers who pay a cash fare will need to alert the bus operator of their destination upon boarding and pay the appropriate fare. • Cash paying passengers who wish to transfer to another service will need to acquire a transfer ticket from the bus operator.

Commuter ExpressLocal System • Commuter Express passengers with a DCTA Local System pass can travel within Denton County only. • A Local System pass allows a passenger to travel on Commuter Express between Lewisville and Denton, on Connect, Connect RSVP and the UNT Shuttle. • When traveling on the Commuter Express the following destinations are included in the local system • Denton P&R • FM407 • Hebron Station

Commuter ExpressRegional System • Commuter Express passengers with a trip beginning or terminating outside of Denton County will need to purchase a DCTA Regional pass.  • This pass can be used to travel between Denton County and DART’s Trinity Mills Station or Downtown Dallas. • A Regional pass also allows the passenger to travel on Connect, Connect RSVP, UNT Shuttle, DART services (except paratransit service), TRE and The T (except paratransit service) at no additional charge.

Pertinent Information • Monthly Passes • Valid for designated calendar month only • Available for purchase approximately 1 week prior to the 1st day of the month. • 10-Day Pass Bundle • Contains (10) day passes • Each day pass is punched when the rider boards the bus for the first portion of their trip. Rider can continue to ride unlimited for the remainder of the day. • Passes are only good for the date that they are activated/punched. • Reduced Monthly Passes • Valid for designated calendar month only • Available for purchase approximately 1 week prior to the 1st day of the month. • Available to seniors (65+), disabled, Medicare card holders and students (18 & under, w/ valid student ID)
