  3. GETTING AROUND • A visit to New Zealand is an opportunity for your clients to discover a spectacular range of landscapes, so deciding HOW they travel around the country can be as important as where they go.

  4. IMPORTANT ROAD RULES New Zealand is a left hand drive country. All distances are posted in kilometres (km) The speed limit is 100km/65 miles per hour on the open road and 50km/30 miles per hour in built up areas.

  5. DRIVING CONDITIONS Don’t underestimate driving times when planning your clients trip. Allow plenty of time to get between places. Check for recommended driving times and themed highways on the Travel Trade Website.
