CO Knowledge Sharing Culture • Sharing important findings of evaluations, field visit reports, conferences etc. • Chautaris/Presentations (external/internal) • Joint field visits • Joint programme formulation • Involvement of project staff in KFCI • Strategic meetings (PSM etc.) Got knowledge? – Share it !

  7. Analysis and Codification • Inter-unit participation in evaluations • Cross and intra-unit teams for review and repositioning of individual programmes • Codification of lessons learned: • Field research • Process analysis • Writing up lessons learned • Internal and external validation

  8. External Sharing and Positioning • Sharing validated lessons learned with UNDP networks/Practices • Establishing/leading a national community of practice • Sharing lessons learned with stakeholders in Nepal Providing better services/products to UNDP clients

  11. The Knowledge for Change Initiative will thus… • Make optimal use of CO capacities (inter- and intra-unit) • Help build our knowledge to meet CO and corporate priorities • Position UNDP Nepal in the context of conflict • Better services/products provided to clients

The KFCI Log-Frame • Vibrant KM culture enhanced • Chautaris on Social Mobilization, using knowledge, indigenous knowledge • NPM workshop • Lessons learned analyzed and codified • DFDP research on affirmative action • External Community of Practice participation • CoP on social inclusion established

  13. Additional inputs needed • KFCI facilitator (min. 30% of ToR) • Budget estimated USD 15,000 • Facilitator for the national community of practice on social inclusion • Inputs on the present workplan from all colleagues KFCI for all staff
