  2. Our Mission Our mission is to make the process of finding flat-mates easier and more efficient. We believe in the significance of finding the right match when sharing an apartment and in its influence on people’s life, naming among others, time, money, and energy. We will turn the process of sharing an apartment into a happier experience.

  3. The idea… • A social network that provides profiles for people looking for flat-mates • It will be for the following purposes: • 1- people looking for potential flat-mates before finding apartments • 2- people trying to find a flat-mate to enter the apartment in which they live at the moment • 3- people trying to enter an apartment with flat-mates already living there • For the sake of privacy, profiles activity can be limited according to a traffic light system: red: not looking for flat-mate at the moment, yellow: open to the possibilities, green: actively looking for roommates. • The profile will have a one-paragraph description and each person will complete a “roommate personality questionnaire” developed by us that will reveal the following info: cleanliness, social habits, schedule (night-day person), average time at home, pets, smoking habits, religion, food preferences (vegan, kosher), sharing policies (toiletries, kitchen supplies, food, laundry), tolerance, etc. • We will develop an algorithm that matches profiles according to a percentage of matching points.

  4. More of the idea… • The portal will also have the possibility to rate your current or past landlord (this is a major issue on renting apartments today) • It will be the first public register of landlords • Will be as the GetTaxi rate your driver application

  10. Hypothesis testing Customer Segments: • Hypothesis: People ages 18-35 in Tel Aviv are having trouble finding/living with good roommates. • Test: Hello people ages 18-35! Have you had trouble finding/living with a good roommate in the past few years? Would you believe that an online service can help create a better match? Answer Yes or No- thanks for the response! • Validation: We received positive feedback that people have faced this problem and would use an online service to help. • Customer Relationship: • Hypothesis: Landlords, Real Estate Agencies and Independent brokers will pay for our services. Since they are paying for similar services such as “homeless”, we can assume they will pay for ours as well. • Test: Approach them and ask via sampling survey • Validation: We approached a realtor and asked if this is something he would pay for, and received a positive response. “ I already pay for something similar.”

  11. Hypothesis testing Cont. Value Proposition • Hypothesis: Relying on our profile matching algorithm and/or mingling with people in person at our events can reveal information that will reduce the risk involved in choosing roommates • Test: Do you believe that our website based profile/mingling event could potentially reduce the risk of moving in with bad roommates? • Validation: We approached many people face-to-face including our own roommates, and got reassuring feedback that such a profile matcher and in-person events would make the process easier and mitigate any future damage. • Revenue Streams: • Hypothesis: Landlords, Real Estate Agencies and Independent brokers will pay for our services. Online customers will be interested in paying a small fee to attend meetup promotional events to meet potential future roommates • Test: Questionnare, secret telaviv, Simba • Validation: In process
