  3. ALICANTE • It is the capital of a rapid commercial and industrial development province, conference seat,tourist, university city.

  4. SAINT BARBARA’S CASTLE • It’s situated on the top of Benacantil Mountain. The fortress was built during the Arab period because of its strategic and defensive advantages.

  5. SAINT BARBARA’S CASTLE This monument has been a witness to all the happenings of the city.

  6. SAINT NICHOLAS CONCATHEDRAL • It is one of the most symbolic buildings of the old part of the town. This Herrerian cathedral from the Spanish renaissance has a Latin cross ground plan with short arms and connected chapels on the sides
