  2. Property Listing Reseller What does it do? The program allows you to offer the ability for For Sale By Owners (FSBO’s) to create and add property listings to your website. How do I benefit? You can charge a fee for this service Monthly Quarterly Bi-Annually Annually These properties can be added to your listings (helps bulk them up especially if you only have a few) or separated out under their own link on your website

  3. What You Need • A Pay Pal account. • http://www.paypal.com • The average charge per transaction is 2.9%; which translates to less than $.75 for every $24.95 payment received. • A website where you sell houses • Easy enough! You should already have one. • A marketing plan to reach your FSBO’s. • Yellow letter • Cold Call from lists • Deliver flyers where you see signs

  4. Setting Up The Property Listing Reseller Access the area where you manage your website. Access your Real Estate Tools under the heading of My Websites & Content and click on the link Property Listing Reseller.

  5. Turning on the Property Listing Reseller Module and Accept the Terms & Conditions **Read the Terms & Conditions by clicking on the link Read The Terms & Conditions.

  6. Choose the website you wish to add this feature to and click on the Edit Listing Display Options button. Your Settings

  7. Choose your settings If you want to review listings before they appear on your website, add a check mark for Require Approval For New Customer Listings. If you want to combine these new listings with your own listings, add a checkmark to the left of Combine Customer Listings with my Own Property Listings. Display Options Click to Save Your Choices.

  8. Pricing Offer : Place a check mark for any payment option you want in place. Base Price: This is what WE will charge you for this listing type. Markup: This is the amount of money you want to make the listing. Total: The total to be charged to your client. Click the Update Pricing Options when your pricing set up is complete.

  9. Payment Place a checkmark to accept payments by PayPal. Add your PayPal email address. Use can use the drop down to test processing before you go live. Do not forget to choose live when you are ready to start processing payments. Click the Update Payment Options button to save.

  10. Tell Your Visitors About The Program How will your visitors know about this program? Create a menu link with access to a page outlining the program. The page content is already created for you!

  11. Creating Your Menu Link Click on Manage My Websites under the heading of My Websites & Content Choose the website to add the link to and click the Design Settings button to the right

  12. Access The Menu Area Begin by clicking the Menu tab. Then click on the link to the menu where your new link is to be added. Your menu link titles may be different. You might see Left, Right, Top, Bottom, etc.

  13. Adding the link. You have two options to create your link: Create a primary menu link. To create this link click on the button Add New Menu Link. Create a sub-menu under a primary menu link (like Property Listings). To create this link click on the Add Submenu Link. . .

  14. Creating the Menu Button Add the text to appear on the button for this link in the text area to the right of Menu Link Text. Click on the link Select Link Page to choose what will be linked to this menu button.

Attaching the Property Listing Reseller to your menu button. • In the Select Link window: • Click on the folder Purchased Modules on the left. • In the screen on the right, click on Property Listing Reseller- List Your Property tab under the heading of Real Estate Toolkit. • Click the Create Link button on the next screen.

  16. Finish Creating Your Menu Link This should look familiar (with a few updates) Lets check what’s in place: Button text in place Link to button in place Finalize the set up of the menu link by clicking the Save Link Settings button.

  17. Property Management Area You can add this page for your new clients to log in to manage their properties by creating another menu link on your website.

  18. Create another menu link. Click to add either a primary button or a sub-menu button to your website Add the text for your menu link button (Property Management Log In, Manage Your Property, Subscribers) Click the Select Link Page link to access the Resource Selector.

  19. What to link to your menu button. Click on the folder Purchased Modules on the left. Click on the link Property Listing Reseller – Property Listing Manager Tab Click the Create Link button on the next screen

  20. Now What? Get Marketing! • Offer a discount for the first 5 to post their property (remember to use the Promotion Code!) • Blog about your new program and why it can help • Walk your neighborhood and offer to let your neighbors post their properties for FREE • Update your meta elements to include your new program. • Resubmit your website to the search engines • Find FSBO’s • Use a list compiled from your buyer website • Scour your neighborhood • Advertise in your local area • Obtain lists of FSBO’s • Create a marketing piece • Use content from the sign up page • Attach a flyer from a listing (that you have permission to use or is your property) • Include your website address Tell everyone you know!
