The validation of Economic Census (EC) data is crucial for accurately representing establishments and workers in various sectors. The fifth EC shows that only 1.5% of establishments have 10 or more workers, while 98.5% are informal. Enumerators must follow strict guidelines to ensure all establishments are counted, especially those lacking a fixed structure. This includes identifying boundaries, cataloging new establishments post-2011 Census, and adhering to specific data collection procedures. Supervisors play a key role in ensuring data accuracy during field surveys.
