  3. CLRN is a statewide education technology service of CDE • AB1761 (Sweeney, 1998) required the California Department of Education to administer statewide education technology services. SB 1254 (Soto) renews SETS and CTAP until January 1, 2009. • These services are to be those “that are more efficiently and effectively provided on a statewide basis.”

  4. CLRN Purpose Provide one location for California standards aligned supplemental electronic learning resource information

  8. Review Process For CLRN inclusion, all resources must meet these requirements: • Legal Compliance • Standards Alignment • Minimum requirements

  9. Evaluation Components • Two components • Formative component *Continuously working with CLRN staff • *Focus on process and content to achieve • project goals • *Frequent feedback and suggestions
