MODULE CONTENT • A REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT OF WIDELY CITED METHODOLOGIES • AN EXAMINATION OF THE CURRENT CULTURAL AND SOCIAL CONTEXTS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING WITHIN ASEAN COUNTRIES • ILLUSTRATIONS OF CONTEXT-SENSITIVE AND CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE METHODS FOR TEACHING GRAMMATICAL STANDARDS, LITERACY, AND ORAL SKILLS

  5. FINAL PROJECT • Outline a one-day teacher education workshop that participants intend to give when they return to their own country • Must have a clear language learning goal • Must include a cultural component that includes cultural comparisons of ASEAN countries to help develop a “sphere of interculturality” • Must include at least two specific examples of language learning tasks • Must be technologically enhanced
