  1. A2z about earthquake

  2. What are earthquake

  3. Earthquakes are a sudden violent shaking of the ground, typically causing great destruction, as a result of movements within the earth's crust or volcanic action.

  4. It's usually caused by tectonic plates (earth crust) when they crash into each other or sudden release of pressure when they are joined and separate they cause a shockwaves, because the plates are so big the earth quakes are on a massive scale compared to just two small rocks crashing into each other, they still make a shockwave just not as big that we can detect it with our own senses. Focus is the point where earthquake starts How are earthquake caused

  6. An earthquake is measured by an instrument called seismograph Measuring an earthquake A seismograph is the device that scientists use to measure earthquakes. The goal of a seismograph is to accurately record the motion of the ground during a quake. If you live in a city, you may have noticed that buildings sometimes shake when a big truck or a subway train rolls by. Good seismographs are therefore isolated and connected to bedrock to prevent this sort of "data pollution."

  7. Better Look!!!

  8. The primary effects included many buildings collapsing. These included many systems shutting down, i.e. electricity, gas, plumbing, etc. Fires that were started by broken gas pipes and broken electrical wires, spread through the city, rapidly destroying the many wooden houses. The can be fire was so great that there can be a point when the wall of flame extended for 400+ meters!!!! Other effects included many blocked roads, delaying and stopping ambulances, fire engines, and other aid vehicles. Because of all the collapsed houses, many people die and are left homeless. earthquake under can to cause tsunami!!! Effects of an earthquake A tsunami caused by an earth Quake . In Japan (2011)
