Autosomal traits are inherited genes that do not determine an persons sex. Autosomal traits are passed on from parents to children doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or a girl.
Sex-linked traits are carried on the X chromosome and not on the Y chromosome therefore males have a 50% chance of being either recessesive or dominant for the trait. • Females have more chances in terms of dominant/recessive traits because of their two X chromosomes.
