Affordable Housing Connectivity Program Stakeholder Forum Overview

The Affordable Housing Connectivity Program (AHCP) is a vital initiative under the ConnectALL plan in New York State, aiming to bridge the digital divide by providing broadband infrastructure to affordable housing properties. With a focus on improving internet access for low-income residents, the AHCP addresses the challenges of high-speed internet affordability and availability. The program offers grants to ISPs and broadband deployment entities to enhance connectivity in underserved communities, fostering economic opportunities and access to essential services. Through stakeholder engagement forums, ConnectALL seeks to promote collaboration, gather input, and enhance the success of statewide digital equity initiatives.
