  2. To enter the Setup Configuration Screen press the Wrench within the RED box.

  3. Enter the password of the day, or maintenance password, press Enter.

  4. Go to the screens upper left, Press Setup, then select “Wrap Arm Controls”

  5. This is the calibration Screen, This procedure is for the “Multi-Stack Preheaters” I will delete the Single-facer information to simplify this procedure.

  6. Please note DB0 is the bottom preheater (DF Liner), DB1 is the preheater just above and so on. DB3 is required for triple wall plants. DB0 2nd is the additional preheater or secondary preheater for the DF Liner paper.

  7. Please center the wrap arm and the potentiometer. Caution the potentiometer is a 10 turn device, rotating the device beyond these limits will cause damage . Reversing the pulleys will allow additional rotations of the adjusting shaft.

  8. Calibrating the DF Liner wrap arm position in CTC system. Preheater in RED. Move the wrap arm (Over wrapped) to it’s most minimum wrap position. Look at the Actual Count value, enter this value in the lower limit for DB0 but add 100 counts. Actual = 168 + 100 = 268.

  9. Next, move the wrap arm (Over wrapped) to it’s most maximum wrap position. Look at the Actual Count value, enter this value in the Upper limit for DB0 but subtract 100 counts. Actual = 27000 - 100 = 26900. Caution, the upper limit counts MUST be greater then the lower counts. If not the + - MOVE buttons will turn BLACK on the operator’s screens.

  10. Last, Press Send Config. Follow same procedure for all DB1, 2, 3 and DB0 2nd. Always press Send Config when finished. Never press Close.
