  1. Magic The Gathering By Kevin Sandhu

  2. How to Play • Pick a Deck • 5 decks to choose from • Each player gets 20 life points • Each player cuts the others deck • Untap all cards at beginning • Draw card • Can only play one mana card • Can play as many creature/spells cards you can afford

  3. How to Play Cont. • declare attackers by tapping cards • Play cards you can afford that are not mana • Say go to end your turn

  4. Decks • Red- fast deck, ends the game quick • Black- Evil, cannot be trusted • White- defensive, ends game late • Green- lots of mana, big creatures • Blue-tricky deck

  5. Types of Cards • Mana- used as a resource to play other cards • Creature- used to attack the opponent • Instant- can be played at any time • Sorcery- can only be played on your turn, and effect ends after turn • Enchantment- placed on the field and effect lasts till card is destroyed

  6. Day one data • 5 games played. Won 3 lost 2 • In all those games I had more than two mana • Had two in one and got destroyed

  7. Day one Conjecture • if you don’t play two or more mana cards by turn seven, you have a 0% chance of winning the game.

  8. Day two data • Played 7 games. won 4 lost 3 • Two of those loses I was unable to draw more than two mana until after my 7th turn

  9. Day two conjecture • After collecting and analyzing my data from day 2 it is easy to see that I am accepting my conjecture from day one

  10. Conclusion • In the end, this was a hard game to learn, but a fun game to play!
