INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS • Widening of West 4th Street • Realigning of Hardy Street from Hwy 49 to Interstate 59 with Intelligent Transportation Systems installed • Interchange Between Lincoln Road and Interstate 59 • Overpass study • Loop Road / Bypass for Hattiesburg . Extension of Longleaf Trace to Main Street ALL ROADS LEAD TO HATTIESBURG

    3. FINANCIAL SECURITY • No tax increase • Highest sales tax income in city’s history • 35 Percent Increase ALL ROADS LEAD TO HATTIESBURG

    4. URBAN DEVELOPMENT • Comprehensive Plan • Flood Plain Maps • Completion of Brownsfield Study for Mobile-Bouie Street Area • 2006 - issued 160 Million Dollars worth of new construction permits • Train Depot • Hub City Transit Improvement/USM ALL ROADS LEAD TO HATTIESBURG

    5. POLICE • Crime Rate • Year to Date 18% Decrease Part One Crimes • Great Program/Gang Prevention • Increase Officer Pay • Additional Officers (88+21=109) • Police Substation • Foot/Bike Patrol • Reaccreditation • New Police Facility ALL ROADS LEAD TO HATTIESBURG

    6. FIRE PROTECTION • Rebuilding Main Fire Station • Updating fleet with new Ladder Truck and Fire Engine • National Accreditation ALL ROADS LEAD TO HATTIESBURG
