9. CERN Hotel – Renovation Building 38 – Proposal Building 38 could comprise: • 28 sharedrooms (Currently 26); • 88 single roomswithwashbasin (Currently 58); • 80 single withshower (Currently 60). The 30 single roomswithwashbasin and toilet and the 25 double roomswilldisappear. Total of 196 rooms (Currently 199). Doesthisproposalanswer CERN usersneeds? 9

10. LS1 - Car fleet increase • Based on extension of current contracts ; • Maximum estimated number of additional cars is as follows: • 114 Cat B • 37 Cat A • For a total number of 151 vehicles of which 20 willbeallocated to PH Department • Agreement withcontractors to mount and maintainwintertyres all year round on the CERN car fleet. 10

11. Restaurants & Snack Service • Cafeteria refurbishedin Building 40; • Early 2013, renovation of the cafeterias in Buildings 6 and 30; • 2 additional vending machines at points 2, 4 (May 2013), 6 and 8 (April 2013) for both coldand hot drinks + food; • Paper hankerchieves and deodorant already in the vending machine in the Main Building. These items have to be better advertised ; • Wider range of products to be available in all vending machines, drinks and food alike; • Information about the use of disposable cups in the cafeteria in Building 40 to be installed next week ; • 2 microwave oven to be replaced in Restaurant no 1, 2 additional machines have been already ordered. 11

12. Car Sharing review – 1/2 • 1031 RFID cardsdistributed; • Average time of use between 30mn and 3 hours Current stations and dedicatednumber of cars Numberof bookings per month 12

13. Car Sharing review – 2/2 • Add a new station at Point 2; DONE • Propose the use of cars from point A to B; IN PROGRESS • 5 additional cars in the car-sharing fleet; IN PROGRESS • When a car is not availableat one station, propose another car at the nearest station.DONE List of improvements 13

14. Shuttle Service • In 2012 nearly 110’000passengers were transported, i.e. an increase of 18% compared to 2011. • Fleet renewal – 3 new buses purchased (31 and 2 x 13 seats) • In the first twomonths of 2013, 16’434 passengers have already been transported. 14

15. Bicycle entrances - Prevessin Number of daily entries Number of daily exits Between the 6th of August and the 30th of November a new bicycle entrance was opened on the Prevessinsite. It was closed at the end of November, and will reopen on the 1st of April. Statisticsbetween August and November 2012. 15

16. An additional bicycle entrance has been created in Prevessin, it will open on the 1st of April. Bicycle entrances - Prevessin 16

19. Electrical cars @ CERN • 2 electrical cars beingtested for 2 weeks; • Excellent feed-back; • Introduction of electrical cars for the mailing service as a first step; • Beta test also for recharging stations.
